Summer
- Walking – there are many beautiful walking trails.
- Cycling and mountain biking – if you’re not afraid of a short climb, the hilly countryside offers many routes.
- Fishing – there are a lot of rivers and lakes nearby. The Ammerån is well-known for its excellent fishing.
- Canoeing – take a turn on the Indalsälven.
- Zorbing – get inside a giant inflatable ball and roll down the hill, great fun for the kids!
- Wild mushrooms and berries – find and pick them yourself and then make delicious food.
Winter
- Skiing – only 800 meters from our house you will find the Kullstabacken slope which is ideal for families. Check the prices for facilities and rental at

- Cross-country skiing – there are maintained trails of 3.5 to 12 kilometers distance and various degrees of difficulty, all situated in magnificent surroundings. There is also an illuminated trail of 2 km for skiing at night.
- Sledding – on the track in Hammarstrand where the European and World Championships were held in the eighties. Today, the track offers you an exciting 300 m long ride.
- Ice fishing – or ‘pimpling’ as they call it here. First, you drill a hole in the ice and then you try to catch a trout. If you’re successful, the fire is waiting for you to roast your fresh fish on.
